Some 40 students were detained when the Regional Police Command raided the Krobea Asante Technical and Vocational School in the Ashanti Region yesterday, Sunday, January 22, to defend government buildings being vandalized by wild, and the rioting students. THE ASHANTI Regional Police Command is hunting for the person who brutally attacked a 32-year-old man in the Ashanti Region’s Nkawie Panin. According to reports, the victim, Ali Dawuda, was charged with stealing the suspect’s bunch of plantains, which the police only identified as Boakye. At about 6:30 p.m on Saturday, an enraged-looking Boakye invaded Dawuda’s residence and, without warning, began butchering him with a sharp machete.
