Ghanaian entertainment fans were shocked to learn that Medikal and Deborah Vanessa, aka Sister Derby, split up in 2018 after repeatedly professing their love to the public. Derby, who is in her late 30s, was able to lose Medikal to up- and- coming actress Fella Makafui of YOLO fame who is in her 20s.
Sister Derby was predicted to be doomed by Ghanaian social media users prior to their abrupt breakup, but she has refused to heed their advice to this day. According to our cultural expectations, they believed that their age difference alone was a strong indicator that the relationship wouldn’ t last.
Their split caused a lot of drama on the timeline and was popular for several weeks.
Shatta Wale and Michy
Many Ghanaians were drawn to Michy and Shatta Wale because they were such a lovely couple. They had a baby boy named Majesty during their roughly 8- year marriage.
It’ s a shame that this lovely relationship ended about two years ago. Despite appearing to be so taken with Michy, Shatta Wale kept sending people to visit him and make appeals on his behalf.
Sarkodie and Yvonne Nelson
In the recent weeks, these two have given us a lot of drama, and more is still developing. In her recently published memoir, Yvonne Nelson made the claim that she had an affair with Sarkodie, became pregnant for him, and then had the child aborted.
Sarkodie released a 3: 16 second audio track to explain what happened with Yvonne Nelson because he did not like the fact that he was exposed.

He also add that He did not ask Yvonne Nelson to abort the baby and that it was her sole decision.
He asked her to keep the baby but she chose her education above the baby,
She declined his offer to have her examined and instead chose the abortionist her friend had recommended. Yvonne had also recently tried to get them to discuss the incident, but he refused to agree to her terms.
She waits to see how these revelations turn out as the drama continues.

Despite being regarded as a ” power couple, ” their marriage only lasted two years.
