Antoa is a well-known town in Asanteman, and Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has commanded the destoolment of the chief there.

Over 20 years have passed since Nana Kwame Owusu Agyeman first sat on the throne. He has been charged with breaking protocol by appointing his nephew to succeed him while he is still alive.

The multiple sales of land are among the other offenses.

The Kumasi Traditional Council met on Monday, and the Otumfuo made his decision during that meeting.

The destoolment ceremonies have begun in earnest.

Antoa Anyaman Bosom, the river deity of the Asante town, is renowned for dispensing swift justice.

The Antoa shrine is a place where parties to a dispute present themselves for arbitration and is revered throughout Ghana as an oathing deity.

At Antoa, rituals are also carried out to release one from the deity oath.

In other news, a Business tycoon who goes by the name Norbert Atodio has caused a stir on social media after he buried his deceased father in a brand new Toyita Corolla.

Earlier on, following his preparations to bury his deceased father, Asoki Atodio, in a Toyota Corolla, Norbert Atodio has left Navrongo in the Upper East Region in a state of shock.

In a video, he personally confirmed the rumor while also showcasing the features of the white car.

InsightNewsgh.com has come across a video captured from the graveside in which Norbert is seen driving into the tomb the white Toyota Corolla with his father’s corpse inside.

This makes the businessman the first man ever to bury his father in a brand new car in Navrongo.
