Award-winning gospel singer Celestine Donkor has dismissed such thoughts of going into marriage with the thinking one’s spouse will definitely cheat on the other

Speaking in an interview with Neat Fm, Celestine Donkor asserted it is not healthy to make such assumptions although every human is bound to sin “In everything, there are possibilities of faithful people and those who have the tendency to cheat as well. Trust is important in marriage.. I will say every human is bound to sin. Our flesh is full of sins, so any human being at all can sin”

She would go on by adding even people we least expect to sin also do sin “Even those that we don’t suspect, even Roman sisters sin. So, I will say there are faithful people and there are people who are just like that”

Celestine Donkor further emphasized why going into marriage with such notions is an issue “So, having the perception that your husband will cheat on you means that you’re already going into the marriage with a lack of trust, which is already a problem”

She would conclude by advising people about getting married to go into marriage with full confidence “And it will make you suspicious for no reason. So, I think you should rather go into marriage with a lot of confidence”

Earlier last week, another gospel singer Empress Gifty got social media ablaze when she asserted it was better to go into marriage with the mind you’re going to have a cheating spouse “If you don’t bear that in mind, you will go mad when it happens to you. You see, don’t see your husband as Holy Ghost. Don’t consider your wife as [Hail] Mary. No. Acknowledge that your partner is a human being. Think about divorce just as you thought about your wedding”
