On this special day, a portion of proceeds from every food and beverage purchase at McDonald’s goes to support families with sick children. Through Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) chapters and local children’s charities across Canada.
The funds raised on McHappy Day directly benefit families staying with RMHC across Canada. Essential support includes accommodations, food, and mental health and wellness services while their child is receiving medical treatment.

Purpose:
On McHappy Day, a portion of proceeds from every food and beverage purchase throughout the day goes to support families with sick children through Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) chapters and also local children’s charities across Canada.
30th Anniversary: This year’s McHappy Day holds special significance as it marks the 30th McHappy Day event in Canada. Over the past 30 McHappy Day events, RMHC. And other local children’s charities have also received over $92.5 million in support.
Exclusive Merchandise: To celebrate this milestone, McDonald’s Canada has collaborated with Peace Collective to create an exclusive merch line. Also featuring everyone’s favorite McDonaldland characters, also including Grimace™. A portion of the proceeds from the Peace Collective collection will also support RMHC Canada.

- Peace Collective Collection: Guests can purchase items from the Peace Collective collection. Also including tees, sweatshirts, hoodies, fanny packs, and ball caps, both in-store at Peace Collective Toronto locations and online.
- McHappy Day Socks and Hearts: Guests can support RMHC and local children’s charities. By purchasing McHapp Day socks in one of four McDonaldland designs for $5 + tax a pair. These socks are available in-restaurant, at the Drive-Thru, through McDelivery. And also via the McDonald’s app. Additionally, guests can also purchase paper hearts for $2, $5, or $10 to show their support.
