Nationwide Recalling Of Walmart beef Among Other Products 2024
The U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has announced a recall of approximately 16,000 pounds of raw ground beef products. These products were produced by Cargill Meat Solutions on April 26-27 and were also shipped to Walmart locations nationwide.
Over 16,000 pounds of raw ground beef sold at Walmart stores across the country have been recalled due to possible contamination with E. coli bacteria. Let’s dive into the details.

- 2.25-lbs. plastic-wrapped trays containing “93% LEAN 7% FAT ALL NATURAL LEAN GROUND BEEF”
- Also 1.33-lbs. plastic-wrapped trays containing four “PRIME RIB BEEF STEAK BURGERS PATTIES”
- 2.25-lbs. plastic-wrapped trays containing “85% LEAN 15% FAT ALL NATURAL ANGUS PREMIUM GROUND BEEF”
- Also 2.25-lbs. plastic-wrapped trays containing “80% LEAN 20% FAT ALL NATURAL GROUND BEEF CHUCK”
- 1.33-lbs. plastic-wrapped trays containing four “80% LEAN 20% FAT ALL NATURAL GROUND BEEF CHUCK PATTIES”
- 1.33-lbs. plastic-wrapped trays containing four “90% LEAN 10% FAT ALL NATURAL GROUND BEEF SIRLOIN PATTIES”
All of these recalled products have a USDA mark of inspection on the front of the label.
What to Do:
Consumers who purchased these recalled ground beef products are advised not to consume them. Instead, they should discard the products or return them to the store where they were purchased. So far, there have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions related to the consumption of these products.
