Patricia Poku Amankwah, a fashion designer, is tired of Ghanaians mistaking her for Patricia Poku Diaby, the richest person in Ghana.
Since a while ago, Patricia Poku Diaby, the richest woman in Ghana, has frequently been confused with the fashion designer who received her degree from the Joyce Ababio Institute, now known as JACCD Design Institute Africa.
Patricia recently addressed the issue on social media because she was sick of the confusion.
Patricia Poku dispelled the myth that she is the richest woman in Ghana in an interview with Pulse Ghana at the recently concluded Emy Awards 2023.
She said; “Mind you, Ghanaians! Iam not the richest woman in Ghana, I am so tired of it, you know what ever rumours, what is happening . It’s been a while but I have decided that I have to come out and let all Ghanaians know that I am not the richest woman in Ghana. I am Patricia Poku, there is a difference between Patricia Poku and Patricia Poku Diaby.”
For a very long time, Patricia Poku and Patricia Poku Diaby have been mistaken for one another.
Patricia Poku-Diaby is the CEO of Plot Enterprise Ghana Limited and a successful businesswoman from Ghana who trades cocoa. With a net worth of $720 million, she was ranked as Ghana’s eighth richest person and richest woman in 2015.
She is the company’s founder and CEO. Plot Enterprise Group is a Ghanaian company that processes cocoa.
Meanwhile, some Despite Media organizations have declared a ban on Shatta Wale, which forbids them from talking about him or playing his music.
The Entertainment show on the channel has been banned by Neat Fm hosts Ola Michael and Abena Moet.
Ola Michael claims that Shatta Wale’s unconscionable attacks on Osei Kwame Despite and Fadda Dickson are what caused the ban.
He was echoed by Abena Moet, who said that since Wale does not pay their salaries, they are free to decide whether or not to talk about him or not.
The incident occurred after Wale severely disparaged Despite Media’s CEO, Dr. Osei Kwame, and Managing Director, Fadda Dickson.
