The Ghana Police Service has began investigations into a viral recording alleging that some of its officers purposefully inserted drugs in the car of a man posing as a doctor. A couple in Accra went to the maternity unit of the 37 Military Hospital anticipating twins, but they were shocked to receive a single baby instead. They are demanding answers from the hospital staff for allegedly being responsible for the apparent “disappearance” of one of the twin babies who had just been delivered. On September 8, 2022, a Caesarean section was used to deliver the baby. Alleged Meek Mill’s phone thief given GH¢50,000 bailout – An Accra circuit court has released on bail a 33-year-old scrap dealer who is accused of stealing the phone belonging to American rapper Meek Mill. The bail amount is 15,000 Ghana cedis, and the court requires two sureties.
