The Ghana Medical Association (GMA) has issued an important notice to its members, confirming that it has not declared any industrial action in relation to the ongoing fight against illegal mining, also known as galamsey. Despite this, the GMA expressed its firm solidarity with the efforts of organised labour in addressing the environmental crisis caused by galamsey operations.
