Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta has been appointed by President Akufo-Addo as the caretaker Minister for the Trade and Industry Ministry. This comes after he resignation of Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten, who until then was the substantive Minister. In a statement signed by Eugene Arhin, the Director of Communications at the Office of the President on Friday, January 6, 2023 said, “The President has asked the Minister for Finance, Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta, to act as caretaker Minister at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, until a substantive appointment is made”.
