Political Scientist Prof Ransford Gyampo has detailed, unfair and illegitimate contract extensions for key officers at the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), including the Commissioner General of GRA, Rev. Gospel musician, Perpetual Didier has said, her family rejects the post-mortem examination conducted on her late brother, Shadrach Arloo by the Ghana Police Service. Eight students have been confirmed dead when a boat carrying eight students from the Atikagome Community in the Sene East District of the Bono East region sank on the Volta Lake. The eight were among 20 students who were halfway between Atikagome and Wayokope when the event happened. Speaking to Citi News about the incident, Ibrahim Wudonyim, the Sene East Director of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), said they received the tragic too late. According to Mr. Wudonyim, the incident took place in a small fishing town near the only school in the region.
