The Ministry of National Security has executed its flagship campaign dubbed “See Something, Say Something” in the North-East Region to sensitize residents on security-related issues. The campaign is a proactive measure by the Government to create awareness about the need for citizens to be security conscious and vigilant at all times and report suspicious activities that could potentially compromise national security. THE EXECUTIVE Car Dealers Association in Kumasi has paid an amount of Gh 10,000 to the Kumasi Central Prisons for the release of nine incarcerated persons. The nine people were serving different jail terms for failing to meet fines placed on them by the Courts after they were tried ad found guilty of committing various crimes. The Executive Car Dealers Association also donated quantities of sachet water to the remaining inmates at the prison facility. An Accra based businessman who has petitioned Ghana’s apex court over the anti-LGBT Bill currently before Parliament has said threats on his life because of his stance against the said Bill would not discourage him from seeking a Supreme Court interpretation its constitutionality and human right infringements.
