Out of a total of 18,755 candidates who have filed to contest the District Assembly Elections scheduled for tomorrow, December 19, 2023, an alarming 17,320 of them are publicly known political party functionaries working for either the New Patriotic Party (NPP) or the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at the electoral area level. THE ASHANTI Regional Police have launched massive hunt to apprehend six suspected hoodlums, who allegedly robbed a fuel station at Kunsu with guns and other weapons. The National Communications Authority (NCA) in collaboration with the National Media Commission (NMC) has blown the cover of some Ten (10) free-to-air Television Stations for engaging in unethical and inappropriate broadcasts.
