The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has reassured the public that the 2024 elections are secure despite the recent arrest of a man with a Biometric Verification Device (BVD) in Nsawam, near Accra. Residents of East Mamprusi have been left outraged following the gang-rape of a seven-month pregnant woman by six armed men on the deteriorating Gambaga-Dagbriboari road in the North East Region.
