THE POLICE in Kumasi are on the heels of some suspects, presumably teenagers, who infamously hit the head of a policeman with a stone to injure him. “Some suspects have been identified by the police and they would surely be arrested to assist in investigations”, a police document has disclosed. Namibia’s high court has overturned a law that criminalised gay sex in a victory for LGBTQ+ campaigners after a number of setbacks in the battle for rights in African countries in recent years.
