The National Teaching Council (NTC) has conducted the 2023 Teacher Licensure Examination, and about 9,556 candidates failed it. This represents 52.6% of the 20,181 applicants who took the required examinations. In a statement, NTC said that 10,625 teachers, or 52.6% of the total, also passed the tests.
