Speaker swears-in Ernest Yaw Anim as the new Kumawu Member of Parliament (MP). The newly-elected lawmaker was sworn in by Speaker of the House Alban Bagbin when Parliament resumed meeting today, Tuesday, June 6, 2023. Cassiel Ato Forson of the minority and Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu of the majority, respectively, welcomed the new Kumawu lawmaker to the house. Mr Yaw Anim polled 15,264 votes to defeat the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, Kwesi Amankwah, and the two other Independent Candidates.
