Manchester United new goalkeeper, Andre Onana has finally spoken after shouting at Harry Maguire in a viral video that has got many talking.
Maguire erred during their preseason game against Borussia Dortmund, Onana lashed out at him.
Maguire made a sloppy pass that allowed Dortmund to get in on goal before the goalkeeper saved them.
The English defender was then yelled at by the Cameroonian as he ran directly in Harry Maguire’s direction.
Maguire had a difficult night because when his name was announced in Las Vegas, the crowd booed him as well.
Some fans criticize the Cameroonian for disrespecting the England international in such a rudeness manner.
Some even questioned Onana for not doing same to Aaron Wan-bissaka who gave a sloppy pass to Dortmund which led to a goal.
Following the social media criticism, Andre Onana speaking to MUTV after the game said he’ll demand a lot from every player of his new club and not just Maguire alone.
According to him, his teammates play the ball back to him because of the trust they have in him and because of that he has to give more confidence.
“I demand a lot of my team-mates because also they demand a lot, they trust in me. They play a lot of balls back to me, so I have to give them confidence and I want my players to give them to me to give me confidence,” he said.

Meanwhile, Tom Heaton and Brandon Williams earlier got into a heated argument over who was to blame for Dortmund’s second goal.
Although manager Erik ten Hag recently relieved the defender of his duties as captain, Scott McTominay was also given the armband for the game.
In the end, Man United stumbled to a third straight loss in America as they were leaving for home after their preseason tour.
Prior to Donyall Malen’s two goals in the span of two minutes, Diogo Dalot had given the Red Devils a 1-0 lead.
After Antony tied the score for United, Youssoufa Moukoko intercepted an Aaron Wan-Bissaka pass to give Dortmund the 3-2 victory.
