The management of Adisadel College has relieved the housemaster of of Quaque House, where the bullying incident happened, of his duties pending further investigation.
The decision to suspend the housemaster comes after a culprit in viral video of assaulted a fellow student at Adisadel College.
According to the school, the Mr. Ekow Holman failed to take the necessary action after the bullying incident occurred.
The school adds that Mr. Ekow Holman could be recalled to take back his position pending the outcome of the investigation.

The public’s outrage over the video has led to serious worries about the welfare and safety of students in the country’s educational institutions.

Meanwhile, Cassandra Twum Ampofo, Head of the Public Relations Unit, signed an official statement from the Ghana Education Service (GES) expressing their deep concern over a recent incident and denouncing the barbaric act committed by the perpetrators.
The GES applauded the school administration for acting quickly to suspend the alleged offender pending additional investigation.
The education department reiterated its steadfast opposition to all acts of violence in classrooms, calling such behavior wholly unacceptable and harmful to students’ wellbeing.
The GES’s top priority continues to be providing a safe and secure learning environment for all students across the country.
The authorities at the school have taken the proper disciplinary action by suspending the alleged offender and the Housemaster involved in the incident while the incident is being investigated.
In other news, an increase in the monthly stipend for National Service Scheme (NSS) Personnel has been announced by the NSS.
According to a statement from the Corporate Affairs Directorate of the Scheme, the government has approved raising the allowance from Ghana cedi 559.04 to Ghana cedi 715.57 starting in January 2023.
In January 2017, the NSS allowance was last changed from GHS 350.00 to GHS 559 04.
