The former president John Dramani Mahama will prevail in the 2024 presidential elections, according to Nana Kwame Mensah-Bonsu, the Otumfuo Ahenenananomhene.

He claims that Ghanaians, especially those in the Ashanti Region, have realized that Mahama, the opposition National Democratic Congress’ (NDC’s) presidential candidate, is a better manager of the economy and that they will support him.

Due to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo‘s poor performance, the sub-Chief of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, added that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) would win the elections even if they chose Jesus Christ, the Lord and Savior of Christians, as their candidate.

“I know that Mahama has won the elections Even if the NPP bring Jesus Christ, they would lose the election. I am telling you the fact.

“Because things have gone bad and they are getting worse. A good thing speaks fir itself,” the traditional ruler said in Twi in a viral video shared by journalist KB Nkansah.

Additionally, he urged the NDC presidential hopeful to choose an Ashanti-region resident as his running mate in the 2024 elections.

“If God willing that former president is going to choose a new vice president, I suggest that he picks someone from the Ashanti Region

“…if he is going to choose from the Ashanti land, I recommend to him my own brother, Oppong Akwasi Fosu”, Otumfuo Ahenenananomhene added.

In a related news, Otumfio Ahenenanomhene has recast former President John Mahama as the nation’s benevolent leader once more due to President Akufo-Addo’s bad governance.

He claimed that the Ashanti Region, where the NDC and John Mahama’s administration had outperformed all NPP administrations, was being mistreated by President Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

In an interview with Angel FM, Nana Mensah-Bonsu, a sub-chief of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, claimed that the NDC opposition party, which receives few votes in the Ashanti Region, has completed more projects there than the NPP administration.
