Jakob Nyantakyi, Akrofuom NPP Chairman has declared his unwavering support for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the right person to lead the party in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
Akrofuom NPP Chairman made his comment during a visit of the Vice President to Akrofuom constituency in the Ashanti Region as part of his tour in the Region to interact with the delegates.
According Jakob Nyantakyi, Dr. Bawumia is the only person amongst the lot who are aspiring to lead to the NPP in the next election who stands and defends the party whenever it goes into any form difficulty.
Hence, the Akrofuom NPP Chairman believes that he is the right candidate to lead NPP in the 2024 general election as he also urged his constituent members to vote for him.
“Dr. Bawumia, you’re not the only Vice President to be aspiring for the Presidential position, H. E Aliu Mahama the late contested too but they didn’t do to him as they’re doing to you in this party, when the party goes into any difficulties, you’re the only one who stands to defend the party, we the delegates of Akrofuom would together vote for you,” Mr. Jakob Nyantakyi said.

Relatively, the Chairman of the Asokwa Constituency of the NPP, Rev. Ofosu Nkrumah, has declared his unwavering support for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the party’s nominee for president in the upcoming primary elections.
Rev. Ofosu Nkrumah praised Dr. Bawumia for honoring the Asokwa Constituency in the Ashanti Region by opening his office out of the 47 constituencies in Ashanti Region.
According to the NPP Chairman of the Asokwa constituency, it has come to his notice one of the Presidential candidate is parading over the country and claiming that Asokwa is his stronghold.
He noted that Asokwa constituency doesn’t belong to anybody except Dr. Bawumia, who has opened his office in the place.
