Former Blackstars player John Paintsil has allegedly owed a woman named Boahemaa money and has been refusing to pay her.

The woman claims that the ex-football player has been contacting her for assistance, which she happily and without hesitation extends to him.

John allegedly borrowed money from her for GHC 15,000 two years ago, but she has made no attempts to get her money back.

Before the footballer decided to comment on her Instagram post and force her to expose him, Boahemaa remained silent about the entire situation.

She claimed that after purposefully severing ties with her due to a disagreement, John Paintsil no longer answers her texts or returns her calls asking whether he intends to comment on her pictures because of the money he owed her.

Her post reads: “@john_painstil_official when are you paying my money? You can’t be owing me for almost two years now, be ignoring my calls & texts and decide to comment on my post. Respect yourself and do the needful. i don’t want to disrespect you”.

Following her exposé, some online commenters criticized her for attempting to use the football player’s fame to further her own efforts to become famous.

However, it appears that this is far from the case as she has since shared screenshots of their WhatsApp conversations to show that she is speaking the truth about the footballer owing her and is not doing it for attention.

One could tell from the conversation that she was speaking with John Paintsil and that she was inquiring about the sum of money she had given him.

In the chat that resulted from the conversation, John Paintsil kept delaying when he would give her the money, and at one point he even left her a voice message explaining why he had broken his promise to do so.
