Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, the founder and head of Perez Chapel International, has revealed that on June 15, 2023, he met in Washington, D.C., with representatives of the American government.
Although he did not specify its purpose, Bishop Agyinasare described the meeting with representatives from the office of US President Joe Biden as fruitful in a Facebook post.
During his time in the US, he added, he had the honor of serving as the main celebrant at the Sub-Saharan African delegation program.
“Thanking God for a productive meeting with President Biden’s administration yesterday at the US Department of State Headquarters.
“I gave a speech; God honoured me, and I was the chief celebrant of Sub-Sahanran African delegation. Thanks for your prayers,” Bishop Agyinasare wrote.
The chiefs of Nogokpo gave Bishop Agyinasare a 14-day window to appear before them in response to his assertion that “Nogokpo is the demonic headquarters of the Volta Region,” but that deadline passed last Friday, June 16, 2023.
On May 25, 2023, Archbishop Charles Agyinasare preached on divine protection and the existence of evil forces at the Supernatural Summit in Accra’s Perez Chapel.
In his sermon, he used various examples to illustrate his points, such as the time his team was attacked spiritually after leading a crusade in the Volta Region.
Nogokpo is the demonic headquarters of the Volta Region. We only have not said it but the second night, I made Bishop Yaw Adu talk about witchcraft and we disgraced the witches and the wizards. When we were driving from Aflao to Agbozome, immediately we got to Nogopko, Bishop Yaw Adu’s four-wheel drive, the tyres came out from under the car,” he recounted.
When Agyinasare’s statement went viral, some members of the public criticized her.
A press conference was held at the Dufie of Nogokpo, Torgbui Saba V, royal palace in response.
Bishop Agyinasare was summoned by the chiefs within the allotted time because they claimed he had made disparaging remarks about them.
He was to appear before them, they claimed, and give an explanation for his remarks.
