Kumawood actress Christian Awuni has endorsed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and it’s flagbearer John Dramani Mahama ahead of the 2024 general elections.
According to the actress, she’ll fervently campaign for NDC and John Mahama to win power in 2024.
Speaking in an interview, Christiana Awuni blasted critics who attack and hurl insults at people who support the largest opposition party in Ghana.
“I have endorsed NDC and Mahama and in 2024 if I am still alive and I’ll campaign strongly for Mahama,” she said.
Explaining why she has decided to campaign for the NDC, the actress stressed that Mahama has a good heart for Ghanaians.
According to Awuni, Mahama also understands the movie industry and during his tenure as the president, he did a lot to help the movie industry to become lucrative.
She also added that Mahama has put some veterans actors and actresses on his payroll who are unable to support themselves financially.

Meanwhile, Mahama has attacked the New Patriotic Party (NPP), claiming that the NDC is a better manager of the economy.
The former president believes that while the NDC does not purport to be perfect, it cannot be as careless, disdainful, and wasteful as the NPP.
These comments were made by him during his speech at the NDC’s European Chapters Conference over the weekend in Amsterdam, Holland.
“We have been in power, and our record is there for all to see. We do not claim perfection, but we in the NDC can never be like the NPP.
“We simply cannot be and are not as reckless and contemptuous of the people of Ghana as the NPP has been. We have never been and will not be as wasteful, ostentatious, and as imprudent as the NPP has been,” he said.
