Alan Kyerematen, a candidate for the New Patriotic Party’s presidential nomination, has opened a fundraising website.
The “Ketewa Bia Nsua” platform was introduced in the presence of important government figures and backers of the former Minister of Trade and Industry.
Patrons were shown how to use the different platforms for donations to support Mr. Kyerematen’s campaign efforts with as little as GH1.
In yesterday’s launch event at the Accra International Conference Center, the supporters were clearly thrilled that the campaign team had been able to come up with such a creative way to raise money.
One supporter boldly compared the entire procedure and available donation options to the legitimacy of Mr. Kyerematen’s campaign team.
He said “the process for donation has highlighted the credibility of the team and the man himself (Alan Kyerematen)”
He added that, “If Alan Was a Bank, I Would Put My Money in Him ”
Patrons of the donation platforms have meanwhile urged Ghanaians, particularly NPP delegates, to spread the word about the donation platforms.
Asokwa MP, Honorable Patricia Appiah Adjei, was present at the launch.
Among other dignitaries and government officials were Davis Opoku Ansah, MP for Mpraeso, former MP for the Madina Constituency, Hon. Abubakar Boniface Saddique, MP for the Hohoe Constituency, Hon. Peter Amewu, and Hopeson Adorye.
In a related news, Alan Kyerematen has stated that if elected president of Ghana, he will lead an inclusive administration.
In the event that he leads the NPP and Ghana, the former trade and industry minister declared that he will respect Ghanaians.
In a post on social media, Mr. Alan Kyeremanten said: “I will run a government by the people, for the people, and of the people.”
