On Thursday, June 8, day two of the Onua Maakye’s Peoples’ Assembly at Obuasi in the Ashanti region, the host of the Onua Maakye show, Captain Smart, and his team were allegedly attacked.
The Onua team was working when a man who appeared to be a member of the Obuasi Municipal task force stormed the area.
According to TV3’s Ashanti Region correspondent William Evans Nkum, the irate thug physically stopped the technical team from mounting live gadgets and claimed he had been given orders from above to stop the event.
According to Onuaonline.com, the team is currently resolving the problem at the Obuasi Central Police Command.
