Award-winning Ghanaian actress and socialite who got converted from Christianity to Islam, Akuapem Poloo has revealed life after she went solo on exposing her body online.
Speaking in an interview with Felicia Osei on Onua TV, Akuapem Poloo disclosed that a lot has changed in her life since she started dressing decently.
According to her, a person’s appearance and attitude speaks a lot about him or her.
She said since the time she began to turn a new leaf from exposing her body, she has started receiving calls from people who initially didn’t want to have anything to do with her because of her constant controversy on the internet.
She also added that her new life has opened doors and she has also met some people as well.
Akuapem Poloo said she doesn’t regret anything about her former life because every celebrity had their own way of rising to stardom and maintaining their status.
“If I had dressed decently nobody would have known me. Every celebrity had their own way to stardom, some dressed properly but they are nowhere to found after rising to stardom,” she said.
Poloo went on to say that she looks up to Jackie Appiah, Nana Ama McBrown and Majid Michel in the industry.
She explained that Jackie Appiah and Majid Michel accepted her for who she is. She also revealed that her new life gained her an acting role from actress and film producer Yvonne Nelson.

Recall, after Poloo was convicted to 90-days in prison during a press conference vowed to never take a nude photos or post naked photos or videos on social media.
Akuapem Poloo was finally freed after spending some months in prison, following her bail from jail she later got converted into Islam.
Poloo claimed her decision to ditch Christianity was because she wanted to make her son happy.
Since joining the Islam community, the actress and mother of one has been dressing decently in public and putting up a good behaviour.
