Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s nomination papers for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential race have been chosen by the “Bawumia Fun Club” organization.
The group decided that Dr. Bawumia should be chosen to lead the NPP in order to help the party “Break the 8” and maintain control in the 2024 elections.
The group led by Ntim Jakari said “The Bawumia Fun Club decided that we will pay and go and present it to their father and our President to be. He is not aware we are doing this. We are taking him by surprise. After payment, we are going to the Jubilee House to present it to him.”
If Bawumia is chosen to be the next president of Ghana, in his opinion, he is the only member of the NPP who has the ability to transform the nation.
The party declared that the nomination fee for candidates in the flagbearership race will be GH50,000.
In a related news, the fifty thousand Ghana cedis (50,000) nomination fee for the flagbearership race has been set by the ruling NPP.
This occurs prior to the nominations’ official announcement on May 26, which is set for that day.
According to a press release issued on Thursday, May 25, the deadline for nominations is Saturday, June 24.
“Consequently, an Aspiring Presidential Candidate shall obtain the Nomination Forms after payment of a non-refundable nomination fee of Fifty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢50, 000.00) only, through a Banker’s Draft,” the statement said.
