The popularly known Shatta Michy, a Ghanaian musician and TV host, has made it clear that she has no plans to apologize to Medikal for their recent heated argument.
The alleged comments made by Medikal about her son Majesty led to the incident that took place at GH Kweku’s birthday celebration in Ghana in April.
Following her heated verbal altercation with AMG Boss, Medikal, Shatta Michy, who had been out of the public eye for a while, was thrust back into the limelight.
After the incident, Medikal stated in an interview on Kumasi’s LUV FM that Shatta Wale had paid for his daughter Island Frimpong’s tuition in a viral video.
Michy, who believed the information was about her son Majesty, misinterpreted the information and confronted Medikal in front of everyone, accusing him of spreading rumors.
Medikal was the target of Michy’s foul language during the incident, which caused him to leave and diffuse the situation.
“When you do follow back you can never have sense! Medikal I ain’t even been the one. I time you tch333!” she later posted on her public profile.
Michy said she has no regrets about what she did and that she would act similarly if confronted with a similar circumstance in an interview on Adom TV’s Andy Dosty show.
Michy admitted that she frequently feels pressured because of various aspects of her life, but she denied attacking Medikal and instead claimed that she expressed her annoyance.
“I know what I am going through. Once in a while, I need to release some of the negative energy on someone. I don’t think I attacked Medikal; in fact, I even gave him fans,” she explained.
However, Shatta Michy blamed Medikal, pointing out that he had no right to speak on her personal matters involving her son’s father, Shatta Wale, and their son.
“This issue is delicate. I understand and know the baby daddy involved—his character, personality, and mindset. However, you [Medikal] have no right whatsoever to discuss my son. Nobody asked you to. I’m not saying no one should talk about my son, but do so with a certain level of maturity,” Michy expressed.
Shatta Michy maintains her position and doesn’t show any signs of regret as she defends her personal space and stands up for her convictions.
