NDC Primaries – Prior to the 2024 general elections, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) held its presidential and parliamentary primaries on Saturday.
Over 366 000 voters were anticipated to participate in the election, which began at around 07:00 in all of the country. There were also 739 candidates running for parliamentary office.
Finally, a winner has been determined in the fierce competition between all contenders, and each one knows their position.

In a related news, the NDC claims that the results of its primaries for president and parliament on Saturday demonstrate unequivocally that the party is capable of winning the 2024 election.
Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the NDC’s national chairman, claims that the caliber of those elected demonstrates the party’s desire for victory.
The NDC has chosen John Mahama as its presidential candidate for the elections of 2024 as well as parliamentary candidates to represent it in the various constituencies.
Over the weekend, the party organized primaries across the country.
Johnson Asiedu Nketiah declared that the NDC is prepared for battle during the announcement of the presidential results.
“We are happy that so far the quality of candidates that have been produced in this election gives us confidence that we will go into 2024 and win the presidential and win a considerable majority in Parliament and also deliver on the charge of rescuing this country. We are not going to say we have the men. We want the men to prove themselves for you to say that yes, the NDC has the men”.
17 incumbent Members of Parliament were denied the opportunity to run in the elections of 2024.
Mr. John Mahama secured the victory with 98.9% of the vote.
