Empress McBrown is one name that is still fresh in everyone’s mind in Ghana this morning.
On Sunday, April 30, 2021, Ghanaian actress and television personality Empress Nana Ama McBrown took over social media trends as the premiere of her new show on Onua TV.
Tens of thousands of live streams were watched during the first episode of the lifestyle and entertainment show on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
The debut show was given a fitting introduction thanks to the revitalizing new set, an enthralled studio audience, unexpected guests, and a rapturous crowd gathered outside Media General Premises.
Baby Maxin made an unexpected appearance on the show to help McBrown, her husband, and her daughter remember the premiere of her first show on Onua TV.
In a state of shock, Empress McBrown knelt down and gave Baby Maxin a bear hug as soon as her eyes met theirs.
Maxin Mensah, her husband, was asked to give his wife some kind words.
He stated in his own words: “I just want to tell my beautiful, I am proud of her. I just want to wish her all the best in this new industry she is about to do, I love you.”
He kissed her on the cheek to end their conversation, to applause from the audience and the stars who were all around them.

Onua Showtime, a program hosted by Empress McBrown that was set to air on Fridays and Sundays at 7 PM, was the subject of some earlier concerns.
Many people would choose Date Rush over Nana Ama McBrown’s show on Sunday, according to some fans and internet users, so she would struggle to draw large audiences.
One of the most watched weekends on television is Date Rush, which is also broadcast on TV3, Onua TV’s sister station. It will also begin at 7 PM, which means it will run concurrently with McBrown’s show.
These online users claim that Date Rush would suffer the consequences of losing some viewers if Nana Ama McBrown‘s show achieves its ratings goals, which would have an impact on Media General.
