In the midst of the grief over Maa Adwoa’s gruesome murder by her boyfriend on the front lawn of Dufe Towers in Adum Kumasi.
Online information about the murderer has revealed that he is a married police inspector with children, according to sources.
It was initially claimed that Maa Adwoa’s boyfriend was a rascally street thug before learning this information.
Maa Adwoa’s boyfriend, a police inspector, allegedly shot her five times before fleeing, according to Maa Adwoa’s uncle, who spoke in an exclusive interview with Gh Page.
He also revealed that Maa Adwoa died tragically just as she was about to travel from Ghana to the UK to live with her father.
As he described his final interaction with the deceased’s sister before her untimely death, the deceased’s brother struggled to contain his tears.
He claimed in a media interview that Maa Adwoa showered and got ready to go out last night to see someone but he forced her to cancel the plan.
He claimed that despite his repeated attempts to stop her, she ignored him. He heard gunshots outside about 20 minutes later, and when he arrived on the scene, his sister was lying in a pool of blood.
The mother of the deceased lady said this morning on Kessben FM that they (the family) do not know the man who fatally shot her daughter as her boyfriend.
She clarified that the only man they are aware of who is dating her daughter is a football player who is presently stationed abroad. He also has a 4-year-old child with Maa Adwoa.
Background story
A source claims that the young woman’s alleged boyfriend and murderer, Taakum, has been suspecting and accusing her of cheating on him, but she consistently refutes his accusations.
The lady eventually grew tired of the accusation after this went on for some time. She (Maadwoa) became enraged and ended their relationship because he kept accusing her of having an extramarital affair.
After some time had passed, the deceased’s boyfriend, who goes by the name Taakum, began pleading with her to forget about the situation and for them to reconcile, but she refused.
The man became enraged when the woman repeatedly refused his request to accept him back as her “lover,” so he pulled a gun and shot her multiple times before fleeing the scene.
Taakum is currently evading capture, so the police have launched a manhunt to find him.
According to a witness who was on the scene, Maa Adwoa begged Taakum not to kill her, but he refused and continued to shoot her five times until she died. To report the incident, the witness ran away from the scene.
