At Gomoa Buduatta junction in the Central region, an STC bus carrying Senior High School SHS students from Kasoa to Cape Coast crashed.
According to reports, a speeding tipper truck from Winneba collided with the GT-1079-20 bus, causing it to somersault.
According to reports, the students riding the bus were from a variety of Central region schools.
The incident happened early on Monday.
Reports state that while some of the victims have been rescued, others are still trapped inside the bus wreck.
They are being rescued by members of the Ghana National Service and other emergency services.
No deaths have been recorded so far. More to follow soon.
