Nobody Can Subvert The Will of Ghanaians In 2024 Elections – Sammy Gyamfi Reacts To Bryan Acheampong’s Comment

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Communications Director, Sammy Gyamfi has requested that the political remark made by Abetifi MP Bryan Achaeampong be disregarded.

This, Sammy Gyamfi claimed, is due to “the majority of the Ghanaian electorate will surely vote for change come 2024 and nobody can subvert their will.”

“Ignore the ludicrous tantrums of Bryan Acheampong. Sovereignty resides in the people and not in a man who only served as a mere Airman Basic (the lowest enlisted rank in the United States Air Force immediately below airman) for about 2 years,” he noted.

He made this remark in response to Bryan Acheampong, minister of food and agriculture, who had said that the NPP would not cede power to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He claims that the party will employ any strategy necessary to win the general election in 2024.

He further stated that the NPP would prove to the NDC that they lacked the men if they dared to use threats and force in the 2024 election.

He predicted that the NDC would fall and that the NPP would demonstrate that “we have the men.”

According to Mr. Acheampong, this will never occur, and the NPP will stand on a platform to hand the NDC power.

Speaking to party supporters on Saturday after the NPP unity walk in Mpraeso, he added that they would do whatever it takes to keep NPP in power.

Sammy Gyamfi, however, asserts that “if Bryan and his ilk are motivated by getting away with the wrong they committed during the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-elections and the 2020 elections, then they are sorely mistaken, as it will not be business as usual.”

A senior member of the defense and interior committees of parliament has also denounced Mr. Acheampong’s remarks.
