Local women looking to settle down have been advised by Christiana Awuni to always try to marry wealthy men.
During an interview with Kofi Adomah, the well-known actress adamantly stated that women should never, under any circumstances, entertain the thought of marrying a poor man.

Christiana Awuni gave an explanation of her point of view by stating that most men, who are frequently poor, begin to develop an aversion to particular women once they begin to become wealthy.
This suggests that if you are a woman who decides to stay with such a man while he is poor in the hope that you two will build a future together, this man may leave you once he starts to get money because his preference for women will probably change.
Christiana Awuni was quick to clarify that she does not mean a man with millions of cedis in his or her bank account when she refers to a rich man.
She went on to say that she is more interested in a man who can at least provide for the lady’s basic needs and who has a respectable job that pays him an income.
Gradually, most women are becoming money-conscious than ever, gone at the days when a woman would stand by a struggling with a vision. Stay and help them see their plans come to pass but this kind of ideology has been thrown into the gate of HADES.
