The Police have shot and killed one of the suspects in the assault on a mobile money dealer outside a restroom in the Budumburam camp.

According to report, the deceased suspect, named as Kwame, was wanted by the police for a dawn robbery attack on a mobile money dealer at Buduburam in the Central Region’s Gomoa East District.
The defendant vehemently resisted and physically hurt a police officer while being apprehended on Friday night by members of the Central Regional Police Command.
Despite being beaten and handcuffed, he tried to escape, which led the police to shoot him and kill him.
On December 30, 2022, the robbers shot 28-year-old mobile money dealer Michael Anderson at a Buduburam public restroom.
The manager of the public restroom facility was also held at gunpoint during the dawn robbery attack.
On January 5, 2023, Michael passed away while being treated at the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital.
