Gilbert Aggrey, also known as Abeiku Santana, recently received a second Master’s degree in Marketing Strategy from the University of Ghana Business School.
Santana is a well-known, seasoned professional with extensive knowledge in a range of media, PR, and marketing fields, including relationship marketing, brand strategy, social marketing, strategic management, and marketing research.
During his studies at the UGBS, Abeiku Santana continued the trajectory of developing a keen interest in the hospitality industry and its dynamic nature. He conducted a research study on service quality and hotel performance post-COVID-19, which has garnered significant attention.
His research aimed to explore how service quality affects the performance of hotels in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, a pertinent issue in the hospitality industry.
In addition to his Master’s degree in Marketing Strategy from the University of Ghana Business School, Abeiku Santana also holds a Master’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the University of Cape Coast and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration from GIMPA.
Due to his dual degrees in marketing and hospitality management, Santana has a distinctive perspective on the hospitality sector and is able to approach problems from a broad perspective. Santana was recently recognized by the University of Cape Coast for his contributions to spreading the word about the school on various platforms. His commitment to improving the hospitality sector and his devotion to his profession are both recognized by this award.
Santana has a thorough understanding of the nuances of the hospitality industry, including operations management, service quality, and customer experience, thanks to his Master’s degree in hospitality management. He is a thought leader in the field thanks to his education and wealth of marketing and entrepreneurial experience. His extensive experience and this milestone have given him a special set of skills,
Speaking on the sidelines of the graduation, the accomplished media professional was overjoyed about his most recent accomplishment and thanked everyone for helping to make the program a success.
