    New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso East Constituency, Alhaji Zak Rahman has urged people of the Zongo communities to vote massively for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to become President of Ghana not only because of his religious affiliation as a Muslim but primarily his competence as a transformational leader.

    According to Alhaji Zak Rahman, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia comes to the position with a wealth of experience after as a technocrat and also performing creditably as a best Vice President under the Fourth Republic.

    “His bold solution presented through his manifesto is testament to the fact that he has the development and growth of Ghana at heart. We should trust our brother who is determined to take the future of this country to the next level of digitalization which is the considered the engine for growth”, he told Muslim leaders.

    Alhaji Zak Rahman was speaking when he accompanied the flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party(NPP) to visit the muslim community in the Ayawaso East Constituency on Monday, September 16, 2024.

    “Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has achieved greatly since he entered the political scene in Ghana. His records speak for themselves. He is known to be a problem-solver; a quality people who are contesting him do not have. We have to vote massively for him because of the competence he comes to the position with and not just because he is our muslim brother,” he urged the Muslim community.

    He reminded them of the Zongo Development fund which has helped develop Zongos across the country in various spheres including provision of Astro Turfs which will help them discover football talents that will be nurtured.
