Dancehall heavyweight Shatta Wale has stated he is willing to make a return to Vodafone Ghana Music Award if they first made a move
Shatta Wale who has since 2019 being banned from the music event following a scuffle with fellow dancehall heavyweight Stonebwoy has revealed he has since gotten over the incident adding ‘we should take this like that…we have to understand that united we stand divided we fall’
Stonebwoy has since made a return in 2022 and even won an award with his name still very much amongst the nominations and still in the running for major honours in this year’s edition
Speaking in an interview with Joy Fm, Shatta Wale joked the Vodafone Ghana Music Award was like an ex-girlfriend of his whom he is ready to forgive if the two parties came to an understanding “VGMA is my ex-girlfriend, anytime they want to come back I am here. I feel because they are the ones organizing this and there should be a nice approach”
Shatta Wale opined it would be a beautiful thing if the two came to an understanding “they should also find someone from the office to come and invite me to come on board and it will be beautiful”
The ‘On God’ hitmaker revealed he had nothing against Vodafone Ghana Music Award and everything that happened was just in the heat of the moment and he has no ‘enemy’ there “I don’t have VGMA at heart and I don’t have any enemy there. It’s just that things happen and we move on”
Meanwhile Shatta Wale is getting ready to release another body of work and is said to be in the studio working on a collaboration with a top artist.
