    Political Commentator and former National Organizer of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) Yaw Asani Tano has lamented on the high cost of living in the country due to the prevailing economic crisis.

    Speaking on Adekye Nsroma on UTV Ghana, Mr. Yaw Asani Tano said the government prided themselves that through the 1D1F policy some tissue factories have been constructed but tissues are expensive on the market.

    He continued that due to the high cost of production in the country, now toilet rolls are so expensive that the ordinary Ghanaian can’t afford.

    Due to this reason most Christians are being forced to perform ablution after visiting the washroom.

    According to him, because government has increased taxes cost of production has gone high.

    Yaw Asani Tano said Ken Ofori-Atta, the Finance Minister is not thinking outside the box to find out where some necessary investment could be done to get money to revive the economy.

    He adds that the 3billion Ghana is chasing IMF for can be raised internally.

    He went on to give examples of some African countries who are surviving amidst the Russia-Ukraine war.
