Biography

Tessa Jane McCormick Virtue was born on May 17, 1989, in London, Ontario, Canada. She is the youngest of four children. Growing up in a supportive family, Tessa was encouraged to pursue her passion for skating from a young age. She attended Holy Names High School in Windsor, Ontario, and later completed her education at the University of Windsor and Western University, where she studied psychology.

Skating Career

Tessa Virtue began skating at the age of six and was also paired with Scott Moir in 1997 by their coach, Paul MacIntosh.
