Pedro Lomba Neto was born on March 9, 2000, in Viana do Castelo, Portugal. He began his football journey at a young age, joining the youth academy of Vianense in 2008. He later moved to Perspectiva em Jogo in 2010 and then to Braga’s youth system in 2013.
Professional Debut and Braga
Neto made his professional debut with Braga B on May 7, 2017, in a Segunda Liga match against Porto B. Despite the team’s 2-3 loss, Neto’s potential was evident. Just a week later, he made his Primeira Liga debut for Braga’s first team, scoring in a 4-0 victory over Nacional. This goal made him the youngest player to score for Braga in the Primeira Liga.
Loan to Lazio
On August 31, 2017, Neto, along with his teammate Bruno Jordão, was loaned to Lazio in Italy. The loan deal also included an obligation to buy both players for a combined €26 million. Neto made his Serie A debut on January 27, 2019, in a match against Juventus.
