Eluned Morgan, Baroness Morgan of Ely, was born on February 16, 1967, in Cardiff, Wales. She grew up in a Welsh-speaking family, which instilled in her a deep appreciation for Welsh culture and language from an early age. Eluned attended Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf, a Welsh-medium secondary school in Cardiff, where she developed a strong foundation in both her academic and linguistic skills.
