The beheaded corpse of a middle-aged man was found in a school building at Bole, in the Savanna Region, in what is suspected to be a ritual murder.

The unidentified man was found naked, with both his head and manhood chopped off. This discovery comes just days after a similar incident shook the town. Over the past three months, several people have been murdered at various locations in Bole.

The body was found on the pavement of St. Kizito’s Primary School in a suburb of Bole, by a search party consisting of police and community members, after a female resident discovered the deceased around 6:00 am and promptly reported the incident to Abu Hassan, the Assembly Member of Mempeasem Electoral Area.

The unidentified man was found naked, with both his head and manhood chopped off. This discovery comes just days after a similar incident shook the town. Over the past three months, several people have been murdered at various locations in Bole.

Due to the string of horrifying serial killings in the area, residents of Bole have imposed a curfew on themselves in response to these disturbances.

Dealing with the troubling matter, the Assemblyman for the Mempeasem Electoral Area, has expressed grave concern over the rising number of murders, describing the situation as serious and alarming.

He has appealed to the government and security agencies for reinforcement, stating that the current police presence is insufficient to address the escalating violence. Hassan pointed to the recent influx of new residents and suggested these newcomers might be orchestrating the murders.

He called for measures to regulate and verify the identities of people moving into the area to prevent further incidents.

The discovery of the body at the school has intensified fears and prompted urgent calls for immediate action to ensure the safety and security of Bole’s residents.

Addressing the seriousness of the issue, Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi, YusifSulemana, has called for immediate action from security services to address the recent killings in Bole.

He noted that residents are currently calm, as speculation is that the victim may not be a native of Bole.

Speaking via Zoom on JoyNews on July 7, he said “It is when the person is killed and identified to be native. That is where sometimes you have the tension. But for me, it doesn’t matter whether the person is a native or a stranger. What is happening is unnecessary, what is happening is cruel, what is happening is unacceptable. “

“And all hands must be on deck so that we are able to resolve it. Let’s not forget that today is Bole, tomorrow is Wa, the next time is Accra and the next time is other places of this country. So I think that the military, the police and those who have what it takes to be able to nip this situation should do it and do it fast, so that it doesn’t escalate and create more problems for us,” he added.
