Candidates can now register for the 2023 West Africa Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) through the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
The portal will be open from Wednesday, March 15, 2023, to Wednesday, April 19, 2023, according to the Council.
In a statement, WAEC issued a warning that only seniors in their third or final year of high school are eligible to take the exam.
The testing organization emphasized once more that schools are not permitted to recruit students or promote the WASSCE for school candidates in any way, including through print, electronic, or social media.
“Register remedial students who have previously written the WASSCE (SC) and join some public/accredited private schools in form three for examination purposes only,” WAEC urged.
The exam has been set to take place between Monday, July 31, 2023, and Tuesday, September 26, 2023.
