The 48th edition of Copa America, organized by CONMEBOL and co-organized by CONCACAF, will be hosted in the United States from June 20 to July 14, 2024. This special edition will feature 16 teams 10 from South America and 6 CONCACAF also invitees battling it out over 25 days of intense competition.
Copa America has a storied history as the oldest international continental football competition. Its inception dates back to 1916, also making it a centennial celebration of football in the Americas.
The Teams and The Draw
Defending champions Argentina will kick off the tournament against playoff winners Canada in Atlanta, GA. The draw has placed teams into four groups of four, ensuring a mix of high-stakes matches and also opportunities for underdogs to shine.

Iconic stadiums across the U.S. will host the matches, with the opening game set for the vibrant atmosphere of Atlanta’s stadium. The final wil also be a spectacle not to be missed, with fans from across the Americas converging to witness history.
