    Celebrated actress and media personality, Nana Ama McBrown has revealed that she has worked her way through to where she’s currently now.

    Speaking in an interview with Johnnie Hughes on 3FM, the multi-talented actress and mother of one disclosed after she was deported from the US in 2001, she decided that she was going to start all over again in Kumasi, where she belongs.

    “When I sat down on the flight, the things I told myself was that I am coming back home and I have to remain home. I am not traveling to go and work anywhere, I will start from where I belong Kumasi. I will start from my people, I have an opportunity there,” McBrown told Johnnie Hughes.

    McBrown stated that she decided to grab the chance, earn it and own it herself.

    “So from Kumasi, I worked, I have paid my dues and I’ll not let anybody say that,” she added.

    Nana Ama McBrown has featured in many kumawood, Ghallywood and international movies which has earned a lot of respect from Ghanaian.

    She also amongst a few Ghanaian celebrities with over more than 10 ambassadorial deals.

    Speaking on how she reacts to the negative news and criticisms about on social media, McBrown said all those things are part of the stardom and she feels good about it.

    According to her, she doesn’t allow the words of her critics pull her down. She welcomes the blessings same as the criticisms. McBrown said she leaves all her critics to God.

    The star goddess was officially unveiled as new staff of Onua TV yesterday after she resigned from Despite Media Group’s UTV.

    Prior to this, there was a lot of rumours in town that McBrown had resigned from UTV after MzGee was seen hosting the United Showbiz show beginning of the year.

    Her unveiling at Onua TV has been received with a lot criticisms from some senior staff of the Despite Media Group who have attacked her and labelled her as an ‘ungrateful person.’
