More than a third of households in the UK are being warned to check. If they have any outstanding Tesco Clubcard vouchers to use up, with millions of pounds of free cash set to disappear at midnight tonight (May 31). MoneySavingExpert founder Martin Lewis warned in his weekly email that shoppers should check ‘urgently’ if they have any, as they do not have long to claim.
Tesco’s 21 million Clubcard members build up points as they spend money in-store, which are in turn gifted as money off vouchers for common household and grocery items. When used together, these can knock a serious amount of money off your grocery bill. So it is worth checking to see if you have any outstanding that could expire tonight. The supermarket giant estimates that £17 million worth of vouchers are set to disappear at midnight. But many shoppers might not even know they have any. It is relatively simple to check, as you can see all of your vouchers. Even the ones you lost down the back of the settee, in the Tesco Clubcard app or on the website.

Martin Lewis’ MoneySavingExpert team has revealed a cheap way to stop yourself from losing out on hundreds of Clubcard points. These vouchers are valid for two years, so there is a chance you have just forgotten that you had it. But you do not have long left to use it up, unless you’re willing to game the system.

How To Check Tesco Clubcard points
The quickest and easiest way to check your Tesco Clubcard points is through the Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app or by logging into your Clubcard account online. Here’s how you can do it:
- Tesco Grocery & Clubcard App: If you have the app installed, open it and sign in. Your Clubcard points collected in-store or online at Tesco Groceries will appear right away. Points collected using Tesco Bank cards, Tesco Mobile, or other points partners may take up to 5 days to appear.
- Online Clubcard Account: Visit the Tesco Clubcard website and log in with your email and password. Once you’re signed in, look for a section called “My Clubcard”. Click on “View Clubcard Account”, and you’ll see how many points you currently have. As well as how many points you need to collect to earn your next voucher.
