Andrew Nembhard was born on January 16, 2000, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He currently plays as a point guard and shooting guard for the Indiana Pacers in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Nembhard committed to play college basketball for the Florida Gators. As a freshman, he made an immediate impact, starting every game and also showcasing his court vision and passing ability. His freshman season was highlighted by a memorable moment in the 2019 SEC tournament when he hit a buzzer-beater to upset LSU. After two seasons at Florida, Nembhard decided to also transfer to Gonzaga University. Nembhard declared for the 2019 NBA draft but chose to return to the Gators for his sophomore season. Nembhard was selected by the Indiana Pacers in the 2022 NBA Draft (2nd round, 31st overall pick). He joined the Pacers’ 2022 NBA Summer League roster and made his NBA debut on October 21, 2022.
