Biography:

Carlo grew up in Colorado Springs, where he played both ice and street hockey with his neighbors. Despite his older brothers being into American football, Carlo’s passion was always hockey. His favorite player was Rob Blake, and he admired the Colorado Avalanche, the NHL team from his hometown. As a defenseman, he played for the Colorado Thunderbirds during his youth hockey years. Carlo joined the Tri-City Americans of the Western Hockey League (WHL) during the 2012–13 season.After receiving praise from coach Jim Hiller, he became an assistant captain for the Americans.
